What are PIN and PUK numbers?
On your SIM card you will find three numbers: ICC, PIN and PUK. ICC is your SIM card’s nineteen-figure identification number. If you have any problems with your SIM card in the future, you will probably need to have this number handy.
On your SIM card you will also find your PIN code (Personal Identification Number) which you have to enter every time you switch on your mobile phone (you can configure your mobile phone not to enter the PIN code). If you enter your PIN number incorrectly three times, your SIM card will be automatically blocked.
If you have entered the wrong PIN code three times the PUK code is necessary to unlock a locked SIM card or. You may attempt to enter the correct PUK code a total of ten times. If you do not manage to, your SIM card will be permanently blocked and you will need to contact our customer services on 22968 or 91 838 47 60. |
